5 Days tour from Fes via Erg Chebbi and Marrakech

 

Day 1 : Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga desert.

of 18 days from Casablanca

Day 1: day of 5 Days tour from Fes.

5 Days tour from Fes We will start after enjoying our breakfast, then depart to Merzouga through the Middle Atlas region. In addition, drive through Ifrane, the “Switzerland of Morocco” and the cedar forests of Azrou where we will stop to feed the monkeys by hand. We will trail Midelt where we will enjoy lunch. Moreover, we will follow the Ziz river and pass by the valley and stop to see the Ziz valleys on the way to Merzouga. Overnight in Merzouga at the hotel.

 

Day 2 : Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Merzouga

We will adventure through the desert region and walk through the desert dunes of Erg Chebbi. We take a circuit of the dunes of the desert, and we will get to have an  opportunity to see the way of the nomads of life and the surprising contrasts of the desert. Than visit the “black town” of Khamlia to see the gnawa musicians. We will have a traditional Berber pizza for lunch in the old capital of Rissani. In the afternoon we will ride the camels to watch the sunset over the dunes and spend the night at the camp in the desert. We will have a traditional tagine dinner, delicious mint tea drink, listen to traditional Berber music while watching the stars and the crescent moon in the incredible Sahara desert.

Day 3 : Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

After having breakfast, we will ride our camels to the raids in the dunes for a fresh shower. We will depart from the Sahara desert, in dunes of Erg Chebbi. We will ride in a cab through the hamada (black desert) to get to the city of Rissani Sahara, and we will have the option of visiting the local animatronics market. After that, we journey north towards Erfoud which is known for its fossils. When we reach this point, we will take a short stop at a fossil workshop before we continue to the impressive Todra canyons, which are known for rock climbing. We will take a stroll and then we will head to our hotel to check in at Dades Valley. We will have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.

Day 4 : Dades – Roses Valley – Amridil Kasbah – Skoura – Ouarzazate

After breakfast we will departure to the Valley of Dades for the «Route of the thousand Kasbahs». Also we will visit the Gorges of Dades, then we trail a road that will take us to the roses, thousands and thousands of roses that perfume The Kelaa M’Gouna, the most beautiful of the rose gardens of the valley where, in the month of May the festival is celebrated of the roses. We will then pass through Skoura which is a huge palm grove, and the state of most of the Kasbahs that were strong in that palm grove, are in a exhausted condition. We will leave from the Kasbah and then we will journey towards Ouarzazate, where we will have dinner and stay the night.

Day 5 : Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Atlas mountains – Marrakech

We will enjoy breakfast and we will have an adventure to the famous kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, which call the UNESCO World Heritage Sit. Then we will leave for Marrakech, we will cross the Tzn Tizka and pass again, at an altitude of 2,260 meters, the “pass of the pastures”, which is the highest point of the roads of Morocco. This area is subjected to strong violent winds, the high meadows perched on the slopes of the High Atlas serve as pastures in summer. We arrive in Marrakech in late in the afternoon. We will go to our hotel where we will conclude our trip. Leave for the hotel based on our departure time.
