Overview of Morocco Itinerary 10 days
On the first day of the Morocco Itinerary 10 days you will have breakfast at your hotel in Marrakech. You will then journey from your hotel in Marrakech to Sidi Rahal mine to view its rich minerals in quartz chalcedonies, amethyst, agate. You will then leave Sidi Rahal to have picnic in the afternoon cross the high atlas in Ouarzazate’s hotel.
In the morning you will depart from Ouarzazate after breakfast and head towards Draa valley and view its nice landscapes. You will make a stop at Beni Zoli Ordovician site to see its rich history of huge trilobites. After viewing the trilobites, you will have a picnic on the site in the afternoon, after which you will drive further to Serradrar to visit Silurian site and collect black Orthoceras. You will spend the rest of the evening in a small hotel in Alnif.
After beakfast, you will departure Alnif to visit the Cambrian site which is famous by its huge yellowish trilobites. You will then have a picnic at the Oasis. In the afternoon you will visit Ordovician site jbel Tiskaouine which is rich in calymenes and flexycalymenes. You will departure from Alnif to discover Isoumour famous trilobites post paradise. This is where all species of Devonian trilobites lived together. You will collect rolled phacops. You will have a picnic on the site and head to Atchana and Devonian site. After the picnic you will collect red ammonites in Lakrabis and spend your evening at Mharch Inn Oasis in the desert. After breakfast in the hotel, you will depart to Mecessi to visit Lalla Mimouna site to collect some Devonian trilobites then head to jbel Mdawar to collect Devonian goniatites. You will have a picnic there and then head to Merzouga Erg chebbi magic sand dunes. Your evening will end in a small nice hotel in Merzouga.Morocco Itinerary 10 days
In the morning you will depart the hotel and head south towards Taouz to visit the famous Kemkem site that is known for its rich habitat of fish, crocodiles and spinosaurus bones and teeth. You will then collect echinoderms in Boutariyt site. You will have a picnic in the old mine of Filon 12 famous by its vanadinites quartz and goethite. You will rhen visit Mifis old laid mine and head back to the hotel in Merzouga to spend the rest of the day.
Today of Morocco Itinerary 10 days after breakfast, you will depart to north Merzouga where you will collect black Devonian pyritised goniatites at Azourz site. After your collection you will then collect trilobites at Tisket site. You will make a visitation to an active Barythe mine, then have picnic in the sacred Oasis. In the afternoon you will collect sand roses made of gypsum and sand also bites of bones vertebras. You will spend your evening at the same hotel in Merzouga.Morocco Itinerary 10 days
On this day you will drive back to Erfoud to Ouarzazate. The next stop will be at Todgha gorges and you will have lunch at Dades gorges then head to the valley of roses and spend the remaining of your evening at Ouarzazate hotel.
After beakfast in the morning you will drive back to Marrakech by high Atlas where you will have lunch. You will then have an half day guided tour to discover the multiple facets of Marrakech with a stroll in the labyrinth of the narrow streets of the Medina amongst its famous Souks. After such adventure you will visit the most beautiful palaces and monuments of Marrakech.
On this final day of yoir trip Morocco Itinerary 10 days you will spend the morning engaging in your leisure activities, mainly shopping or relaxing in Marrakech before leaving mid afternoon to Menara airport of Marrakech. If you have a departing flight or want to spend time in Souks you can leave Marrakech at your convenience.
