The 3 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech includes the camel trekking in Merzouga desert, The Berber villages, Oasis, Kasbahs, Gorges…etc. Both private and shared small-groups are available and also if you whish to upgrade your accommodations (Hotels & desert camps) from standard, mid-range to luxury .

Itinerary Program: 3 days desert tour from fes to marrakech

Day 1 Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga (Camel Ride & Night in Desert)

Our driver/guide will pick you up from Fes in the morning and then start the journey to the desert passing through Ifrane, the Middle Atlas Mountains and the cedar forests of Azrou where the wild monkeys are located. We will stop at the forest to take some pictures of wilderness in Morocco. After the cedar forest we will continue to Zaida or Medilt (Berber Villages) where we will have lunch and then we continue through the middle atlas enjoying the view f the Mountains and landscapes of Medilt, Rich and we will have a stop at Ziz Valley where you can take lovely panoramic pictures of the valley before getting to Arfoud and Er-rissani city, the beginning of the desert and Oasis continuing to Erg Chebbi desert (Merzouga). When we arrive in Merzouga you will leave some of your staff at our desert hotel and take only the necessary for the night in camp, you will start riding camels from the hotel into the dunes for 1 hour and 30 minutes, you will stop for sunset in the middle of the dunes then continue to the camp where you can try the Sand Boarding. After dinner, campfire and Berber drums music at the camp, you can walk in dunes to enjoy the starry desert sky.3 days desert tour from fes to marrakech

Day 2 Merzouga – Er rissani – El Jorf – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley & Gorges

Our camel guides will wake you up early in the morning to watch an unforgettable sunrise over the dunes. When the colors of the sand dunes make an awesome sight combined with the play of shadows. After the sunrise in dunes, we ride the camels back to the hotel in Merzouga, where you’ll have the breakfast and shower before starting our journey to Tafilalt (Er-rissani) area at the edge of the Ziz Valley, Er-rissani is an old Berber and Bedouin city and it’s the 1st ruler of the Alawite dynasty which thrived in the 17th century. Our 3 days tour continues to Dades Valley through the Mountains, the impressive Gorges and past the eastern slopes of the Atlas to Todra Oasis and Gorges, passing through valleys of palms and the old Berber villages continuing on an amazing scenic drive through the Dades Mountains. Overnight in Hotel at the Dades valley.

Day 3 Dades Valley – Roses Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

After the breakfast and shower at the hotel in Dades, We will start the last day or our 3 days tour to Ouarzazate (Holywood of Africa) via Skoura Oasis and stopping at the panoramic view of Taourirt Kasbah and for another stop will be near the Atlas Film Studio in Ouarzazate. After those few stops, we continue driving to visit and have lunch at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbahs, this old Kasbah is an old Ksar (Palace) along the former Berber and Bedouin caravan route between the Sahara and the north of Morocco, the Kasbah has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987 and a lot of movies have been shot there (Ex: The Mummy, Gladiator…etc.). After visiting the Kasbah we will continue driving to Marrakech via the high Atlas Mountains passing through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260m in altitude) and serval few Berber Villages in the Mountains.
