Marrakesh – Sahara (Merzouga) in 4 days

  • Dadès Gorges (Dadès Valley) is a wonderful series of rugged wadi gorges carved out by the Dadès River. Enjoy the best of a Moroccan nature with amazing views. The southernmost gorges are known for extensive production of roses, used in the production of rose water.
  • Merzouga is known for its proximity to Erg Chebbi, a Saharan erg, and it is, for this reason, a part of the itineraries of many tourists visiting Morocco. You can visit Sahara desert, enjoy your memorable time there and stay overnight in a cosy desert camp.
  • Tazzarine, a town in Zagora Province where you can visit a site with rock drawings.


Day 1: Marrakesh – Dades Valley – Aït Benhaddou – Riad

Starting from Marrakesh to the Dades Valley. On the way, you will visit the Kasbah of Telouet and Aït Benhaddou. Overnight in the Riad in Dades, a beautiful valley.

Day 2: Merzouga

We drive to Todgha gorge where you can have a short walk. Later on, you will move to Merzouga where u will have a short camel trek to reach the desert camp in the middle of the dunes and to enjoy the sunset on one of the high sand dunes. If you wake up early you can also enjoy the sunrise.

Day 3: Gnawa village – Risani – Tazzarine

After breakfast we visit the Gnawa village, then we drive to Risani and Tazzarine where you can visit a prehistoric site consisting of rock drawings if you wish.

Day 4: Tamsahelte – Draa

We drive from Tamsahelte to Marrakesh via the valley of the Draa, a valley of thousand palm trees. On the way, you can enjoy different landscapes.
